Rupaul’s Drag Race Werq the World is headed back to San Antonio as part of 2027 tour

Werq The World News (WTWN 10), the 10th-anniversary edition of the world’s largest touring drag production, will sashay across the Majestic Theatre stage next spring, organizers revealed Thursday.

The 50-city tour celebrating a decade of RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Werq the World touring franchise will tantalize San Antonio on Wednesday, Feb 24, with a program that reimagines the show as a live broadcast event — “a primetime variety hour where the news desk meets the main stage.”

Various types of presale tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, through 10 a.m. Thursday, May 28, while general tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 29. Sales are through ATG Tickets.

RuPaul’s Drag Race fan favorite Asia O’Hara will fill the role of lead anchor for the entire tour: the Anchorma’am of Channel 10. She’ll link breaking news segments, special reports and field correspondence from a rotating roster of Drag Race stars including Vanessa Vanjie, Jewels Sparkles, Morphine Love Dion, Roxxxy Andrews and Plane Jane, according to details shared by the Majestic.

“It’s the biggest stories of the year delivered through drag, spectacle, comedy, and world-class performances,” show organizers Voss Events and World of Wonder said in a statement.
