NAVASOTA, Texas — The Savannah Bananas are bringing their high-energy Banana Ball World Tour to Navasota on Thursday evening for a free pop-up show at Navasota High School, pitting the Bananas against the Texas Tailgaters in front of up to 1,000 fans with no ticket required.
UPDATE: At 5:31 p.m. the Bananas announced they reached capacity.
The event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the stadium reaches that limit, the parking lot will close and no additional vehicles will be allowed on site.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. at 1 Rattler Drive, Navasota, TX 77868, accessible directly off State Highway 90 (SH-90). Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as parking and entry are on a strict first-come, first-served basis and spot saving is not allowed. The Pre-Game Plaza opens an hour earlier, at 4:30 p.m., for wristbanded attendees.
The plaza experience features live performances, interactive entertainment, appearances by players, cast members, mascots, and other surprise guests, as well as merchandise tents carrying gear for both the Savannah Bananas and the Texas Tailgaters. Merchandise stands open with the plaza at 4:30 p.m. Entry to the plaza requires a wristband, and re-entry to both the plaza and stadium will not be permitted once a guest exits.
Organizers are warning of heavy traffic on SH-90 heading into the school campus and are asking guests to follow directions from local law enforcement and Banana Ball staff to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.
