The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left two juveniles injured in Forney. Both victims are stable, but no arrests have been made.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Two juveniles were shot in Kaufman County late Tuesday evening, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies said they responded to the 5000 block of Manarchos Lane in Forney just after 9 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived on scene, they found two juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was shot in the hand, and the other was shot in the stomach, the department said. Both juveniles were taken to a nearby hospital and are currently listed in stable condition.
During the investigation, deputies located two adults and one juvenile inside a home where the shooting took place.
One adult female was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of Polk County and transported to the Kaufman County Detention Center. Deputies said they interviewed an adult male and a juvenile who were inside the home.
No arrest has been made at this time, and the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains ongoing.
