All southbound lanes of US 75 reopen at Midpark Road after major accident

The expressway was shut down for several hours while police investigated and reopened just before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

DALLAS — All southbound lanes are back open at US 75 and Midpark Road after a major accident on Tuesday evening. 

Police had previously blocked all southbound lanes of US 75 at Midpark Road due to a major accident, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. 

The expressway was shut down for several hours while police investigated, and the highway reopened just before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. 

WFAA has not heard back from the Dallas Police as to whether there were any injuries involved. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
