LANCASTER, Texas — An 18-year-old died, and a minor was injured in a double shooting in Lancaster, according to police.
Officers responded around 8:28 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, to a shooting in the 1600 block of North Houston School Road, according to a press release from the Lancaster Police Department.
When police arrived, they found an adult man with multiple gunshot wounds, the release states. The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. He was later identified as 18-year-old Bowen Openshaw, officials said.
A minor was also found on the scene with a gunshot wound; they were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The incident remains under investigation, and it is believed to be an isolated incident, officials said.
