HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A teenage girl is dead after crashing on a gas-powered mini bike Friday morning, according to Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman.
The crash happened on Ella Boulevard near Wied Road. The constable first posted about the crash on social media at 8:26 a.m.
The girl was rushed to a hospital, where she died from her injuries, Herman said.
“Please keep the victim’s family and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time,” he said on social media.
The northbound lanes of Ella Boulevard were shut down in the area to allow investigators to process the scene.
We don’t yet know what led up to the crash.
