No injuries were reported, but the two people on board were shaken up.
CONROE, Texas — Airport officials say a plane taking off from a Conroe airport had an issue and ended up off the runway Wednesday afternoon.
The airport director at the Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport (KCXO) said there were two people on the plane when it happened.
The two were not injured, but were shaken after what happened.
The plane appeared to be an original or replica P-51 Mustang, a small World War II plane.
The nature of the issue with the plane was not yet known.
Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport is northeast of Conroe near 336. It was once known as the Lone Star Executive Airport.
