ARIZONA, USA — More than three months after Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, her family is still holding out hope she will be found.
Savannah Guthrie pleaded for anyone with information about her mother’s whereabouts to come forward in a Mother’s Day post Sunday.
“We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “Please keep praying. Bring her home.”
The caption went alongside a compilation of photos and videos of Nancy and her family.
“Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie — we miss you with our every breath,” Savannah Guthrie wrote. “We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you.”
Nancy Guthrie was last seen Jan. 30. Authorities believe she was taken from her Arizona home against her will sometime that night.
Despite an intense search involving thousands of federal and local officers and volunteers, there has been no sign of the 84-year-old mother of three since she was reported missing Feb. 1.
While an investigation is still ongoing, FBI Director Kash Patel accused the Pima County Sheriff’s Department of sidelining the agency for days.
“What we, the FBI, do is say, ‘Hey, we’re here to help,'” Patel told Sean Hannity on an episode of his show released Tuesday. “What do you need? What can we do? And for four days, we were kept out of the investigation.”
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in a statement that coordination with the FBI began “without delay.”
No suspects have been identified in the case.
The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for any information leading to finding Nancy Guthrie, or an arrest. The Guthrie family have offered to increase the award amount to $1 million.
