The WNBA Board of Governors unanimously approved the sale of the Connecticut Sun to Houston businessman Tilman Fertitta from the Mohegan Tribe on Wednesday. The franchise will revive the Comets’ name and branding, and will play at the Toyota Center starting in the 2027 season.
