North Texas police investigate ‘indecent incident’ after victim may have been sprayed by ‘unknown substance’

North Richland Hills police are still searching for the suspect.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — North Texas police are investigating reports of an indecent situation that occurred Wednesday night.

Officers with the North Richland Hills Police Department responded to a department store off North Tarrant and Precinct Line Road around 9 p.m. Wednesday, officials said in a social media post.  

Police said that the victim explained a Hispanic male with black shoulder-length hair wearing a black t-shirt. He approached her from behind and applied an unknown substance to her using what sounded like a spray bottle, the post said.

The suspect’s vehicle is a silver Chevy truck, police said, and officers are still searching for the suspect.
