This will be Jamie Foxx’s third child and his first with his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp.
WASHINGTON — Jamie Foxx is going to be a father again, according to multiple media reports.
The actor, 58, and his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp are expecting their first child together, People and USA Today reported Tuesday. Foxx has two daughters, Corrine Foxx, 32 and 17-year-old Anelise Foxx.
TMZ was the first to break the news and reported that Huckstepp is “already several months along” in her pregnancy.
His new addition to the family comes nearly three years after Foxx suffered a stroke on the set of “Back to Action.” The actor later revealed that the stroke was caused by a brain bleed and he fell into a coma that lasted weeks.
During a Netflix special that aired in late 2024, the actor detailed what led to the hospitalization and his disappearance from the public eye for months.
Foxx shared how his vitals were “out of control” at one point when he was unconscious in the hospital and doctors thought he was going to die. He credited his daughter, Anelise, who snuck into the hospital with her guitar and played for him.
According to Foxx, when she played his vitals stabilized.
“It was God in that guitar,” Foxx said, describing the incident as “a miracle.” “That’s my spiritual defibrillator.”
He also thanked his sister, Deidra Dixon, and his older daughter, Corrine Foxx, with shielding him from the public during his rehab and recovery.
“They didn’t want you to see me like that. I didn’t want you to see me like that. I want you to see me like this,” Foxx stated.
