The sheriff’s office said the charges against Garrett Cross stem from when he worked at Pine Valley Middle School in New Caney ISD several years ago.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A current Humble ISD employee and former New Caney ISD middle school employee has been arrested on a charge of indecency with a child, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said the charges against Garrett Cross stem from when he worked at Pine Valley Middle School in New Caney ISD several years ago.
Details surrounding the investigation are limited at this time.
Cross now works for Humble ISD. The sheriff’s office said the district has placed Cross on administrative leave as the investigation plays out.
According to the sheriff’s office, a warrant for his arrest was issued on May 7, and Cross turned himself in to authorities on May 8. He was then booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
