A disagreement over the seating arrangement at a kindergarten graduation escalated into a physical fight at an Ohio Catholic school.
TOLEDO, Ohio — A fight over seating at a kindergarten graduation ceremony at an Ohio Catholic school left one person hospitalized on Thursday morning.
Authorities said they were called to Queen Apostles School in Toledo, Ohio, at 8:45 a.m. local time after several people were involved in a dispute.
The fight left a 26-year-old hospitalized with a head injury, according to the report. No students were harmed in the incident, the school said.
Police said a 28-year-old woman, identified as Jessica Anderson, was arrested at the scene and taken to the Lucas County Jail, where she faces a felonious assault charge.
“So grateful for our partnership with the Toledo Police Department! We appreciate your rapid response to the situation that some people brought to our school,” the school said in a statement on Facebook. “All our students are safe, thankfully, and the last day of school continues as usual.”
