Election Day 2026: Live results across Dallas-Fort Worth, including DART withdrawal votes and $6.2B Dallas ISD bond

North Texas voters will decide on withdrawing from Dallas Area Rapid Transit in key city races, while Dallas ISD seeks approval for a $6.2 billion bond.

TEXAS, USA — Election Day is May 2, and WFAA is tracking live results from the local elections across North Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Key races on the ballot include three cities – Addison, Highland Park and University Park – voting on whether or not to put the brakes on Dallas Area Rapid Transit and withdraw from the bus and light rail system.

The area’s largest school district – Dallas I.S.D. – is asking voters to approve a $6.2 billion dollar school bond package. It includes building 26 brand-new replacement schools, modernizing all campuses, new technology, new school buses, and safety and security upgrades.
