Dallas police say a pickup truck driver ran a red light and crashed into an SUV. The driver of the pickup died at the scene.
DALLAS — A person is dead after an early morning crash in Far East Dallas, officials said.
Dallas Police said in a press release that it responded to a two-vehicle accident around 1:10 a.m. Sunday in the 5500 block of S. Buckner Boulevard. Department officials said a pickup truck ran a red light and hit an SUV. The driver of the truck died at the scene, police said.
The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and police said they are still investigating the incident.
