Harris County deputies are investigating after a man was found dead inside a vehicle with possible gunshot wounds in east Harris County.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A man was found dead inside a vehicle with possible gunshot wounds in east Harris County on Tuesday morning, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service in the area of Patch and Waldine, just south of the East Freeway and west of Beltway 8, Gonzalez said in a social media post.
When deputies arrived, they found a man inside a vehicle suffering from possible gunshot wounds. Authorities confirmed the driver died at the scene.
Crime scene investigators and homicide detectives were called to investigate.
No additional information about the victim or what led to the shooting was immediately released.
