Arlington Police say the shooting happened at an apartment complex on Nandina Drive Thursday.
ARLINGTON, Texas — A teenager is in the hospital after being shot at an apartment complex Thursday afternoon, according to Arlington Police.
Police say officers got called to the complex in the 1600 block of Nandina Drive after getting reports of a shooting. When they made it to the scene, police say they found a 17-year-old who had been shot in the parking lot.
Officials say the teen was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Details on what led to the shooting were not released, but investigators believe the teen and the shooter were “engaging in high-risk activity” prior to the incident.
Officials say there were no other injuries from the shooting, and the suspect has not been caught.
Arlington Police say the investigation is ongoing.
