Vanessa Trump reveals breast cancer diagnosis

Vanessa Trump, the president’s former daughter-in-law, said she is focusing on a treatment plan and recovery with her family’s support.

WASHINGTON — Vanessa Trump, President Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law and golfer Tiger Woods’ current girlfriend, announced Wednesday she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

She also said she underwent a “procedure” earlier this week and thanked her doctors for helping her through it.

“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” she wrote.

She is now asking for privacy while so she can focus on her “health and recovery.”

It’s unclear what stage the cancer was in, when exactly she was diagnosed or if she is still in treatment.

Trump, 48, is a mother of five. She shares children Kai, 19; Donald, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11, with ex-husband Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son. The two split in 2018 and she recently began dating Woods.

Her health diagnosis announcement comes a few weeks after Woods entered rehab after his March arrest in Florida on suspicion of driving under the influence.
