HOUSTON — Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered in Greens Bayou in east Houston Saturday evening.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers received reports around 6:20 p.m. of a body in the water on the East Freeway near Uvalde Road.
Police said it is still unclear whether there are any signs of foul play at this time.
Detectives and dive team units were called to the scene, and officials described the area as very active as the investigation continues.
