The Cowboys 2026 schedule is out, and American Airlines is already rolling out added flights for fans chasing away games.
FORT WORTH, Texas — American Airlines is expanding flights for Dallas Cowboys away games this season, including added nonstop service to Rio de Janeiro for the team’s international matchup in Brazil.
The Fort Worth-based carrier, which is the official airline of the Dallas Cowboys, announced Friday that it is adding flights and seats tied to several road games a day after the release of the Cowboys’ 2026 schedule.
American said the added flights are designed to help fans make weekend trips to away games throughout the season.
For the Cowboys Oct. 18 game against the Green Bay Packers, the airline is adding flights from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to both Green Bay and Appleton, Wisconsin.
The added flights include:
- DFW to Green Bay (GRB) on Oct. 17
- DFW to Appleton (ATW) on Oct. 17
- Green Bay to DFW on Oct. 19
- Appleton to DFW on Oct. 19
American also said it will continue regularly scheduled nonstop service to other Cowboys road games this season, including trips to New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles and Seattle.
The airline is also adding special nonstop flights to Rio de Janeiro for the Cowboys’ Week 3 international game in Brazil on Sept. 27.

- Rio de Janeiro to DFW on Sept. 28
“The football matchups are set, and the Official Airline of the Dallas Cowboys, American Airlines is ready to support Dallas fans with expanded flights to away games this season,” the company said in its release.
American also announced the return of its AAdvantage Perks sweepstakes program beginning May 18. The airline said AAdvantage members can enter for opportunities including a “Flyaway to Brazil” experience and a Thanksgiving VIP package tied to the Cowboys holiday game.
The airline said flight schedules tied to the Cowboys season will be available for booking early next week.
