LAREDO, Texas — Six people were found dead Sunday afternoon inside a Union Pacific boxcar, according to television station KGNS.
Laredo police say the bodies were found just after 3:30 p.m. during an inspection at a railyard.
Authorities say no one else was found alive inside the boxcar. No names have been released as of this posting, and investigators haven’t released the manner in which the six people died.
Union Pacific officials said in a statement that they’re working closely with law enforcement.
