Dallas Fire-Rescue says the incident happened Sunday after a man went into the lake and never resurfaced.
DALLAS — A man’s body has been recovered after he jumped into Bachman Lake and didn’t come back up, according to both the Dallas Police Department and Dallas Fire-Rescue.
DFR say they were called at 6:29 p.m. after a witness saw the man go into the water near the 9300 block of Webb Chapel Road.
Officials say it’s unclear whether the man jumped or fell into the water but witnesses say he went into the water at a bridge on Webb Chapel Road behind a restaurant.
Dallas Police say the man’s body was found shortly after the call came in.
The investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the man will be released by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
