DALLAS — One person died overnight after a shooting in Dallas’ Uptown neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded around 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, May 3, in the 2700 block of McKinney Avenue, according to a press release from the Dallas Police Department.
Investigators found that a man was shot by an unknown person who left the scene before police arrived, the release states. The victim was taken to a hospital where he died, police said.
No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, the release states. Police are investigating the incident.
