Your photos and videos of severe weather as it moved through the Houston area

Shortly after midnight, storms dropped hail across parts of Southeast Texas.

HOUSTON — It was a stormy overnight across the Houston area, as heavy rain and hail fell across parts of town. Many of you grabbed your phones and helped us document the severe weather as it came through.

The storms early Friday morning  preceded what’s expected to be a washout across town. Flooding remains a possibility with the storms.

Below are some of the photos and videos you captured as the early-morning storms moved through.

Starting in southeast Houston, Donovyn Balderas and Sarah Foster shared what’s below.

Pearland was one of the spots along this hail track that meteorologist Chris Ramirez produced.

We also heard about hail in the Pearland area, which was in the path. Tom Ellerbrock shared the video below.

For those of you in Missouri City, you may have seen this. This is video Teresa shared with us from Quail Valley.

Sugar Land was also in the path of storms that moved through this morning. This video was shared by Mohammed Alhasan.

We want to see your video of weather as it moves through, but only if you can safely capture it.  You can email it to us at newstips@khou.com or send it to us through our social media pages.
