HOUSTON — Police are looking for the driver who hit and killed a woman in southwest Harris County earlier this month and then took off. There’s a reward of up to $5,000 if you can help investigators find that driver.
It happened along Highway 6 near Beechnut on Thursday, July 17, at around 9:30 p.m. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the driver hit a woman from behind, killing her. That victim was later identified as Jennifer Louise Pedone.
Pedone’s family is pleading with the public for any information about who hit her.
