A woman has died in a vehicle crash off an overpass in northeast Harris County.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A woman has died after a vehicle went off an overpass in northeast Harris County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said deputies responded to the crash Friday morning on Homestead Road north of Winfield Road.
Details on what caused the vehicle to leave the overpass have not yet been released. Authorities confirmed that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office has not identified the victim and the investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
