BRYAN, Texas — Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence for helping wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein sexually abuse underage girls, has been moved from a federal prison in Florida to a federal prison camp (FPC) in Texas.
Maxwell, 63, was moved to FPC Bryan, which houses 635 women, just days after being interviewed by Department of Justice officials, during which she reportedly answered questions regarding “about 100 different people.”
“We can confirm, Ghislaine Maxwell is in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Bryan, Texas,” BOP spokesperson Donald Murphy confirmed via a statement to CNN.
According to the the Bureau of Prisons, FPCs are “minimum security institutions…[that] have dormitory housing, a relatively low staff-to-inmate ratio, and limited or no perimeter fencing. These institutions are work- and program-oriented.”
There are seven FCPs located throughout the country.

Epstein, Maxwell’s former boyfriend, died by suicide on Aug. 9, 2019, while imprisoned at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.
