LOS ANGELES– Celebrated actor Valerie Mahaffey, whose stage, film and television work ranged from Shakespeare to the hit 1990 s series “Northern Direct exposure,” died at age 71 after a battle with cancer, according to a statement launched Saturday by her press agent.
Mahaffey passed away Friday in Los Angeles, according to publicist Jillian Roscoe.
“I have actually lost the love of my life, and America has shed one of its most charming starlets. She will be missed out on,” her other half, actor Joseph Kell, stated in a declaration. Survivors additionally include their daughter, Alice Richards.
