Universal Kids Resort in Frisco officially opens this summer, and you can secure your spot right now. Tickets and hotel packages went on sale today.
FRISCO, Texas — Universal has big news for its littlest fans! Universal Kids Resort, Universal Destinations & Experiences’ first-ever regional theme park specifically designed for kids, will officially open in Frisco on July 1.
The company announced Thursday that tickets, on-site hotel packages, and the park’s first annual pass option are now on sale. Families can now officially plan a “kidcation” to the highly anticipated North Texas destination.
Located in the heart of Frisco, the 20-acre park invites families to experience “kid-sized Universal thrills made just for them”.
Guests will be able to visit seven lands celebrating beloved family characters from Universal shows and movies:
- DreamWorks’ Shrek’s Swamp
- Jurassic World Adventure Camp
- Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom
- Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club
- DreamWorks’ TrollsFest
- DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots Del Mar
- The Isle of Curiosity featuring DreamWorks’ Gabby’s Dollhouse
Right at the entrance to the park is the Universal Kids Resort Hotel. The colorful, 300-room hotel features standard and deluxe queen rooms that sleep up to five guests. Plus, family suites that sleep up to six. Amenities include an outdoor pool and dining options designed to “delight even the pickiest of eaters”.
A variety of tickets are currently available, including 1-day and 2-day general admission tickets, alongside the Universal Kids Resort Silver Annual Pass, which offers 12 months of access with blockout dates. Visitors can also build a “create your own” package, which bundles hotel accommodations, flights, and ticket options—including a specialty “1.5-Day” admission ticket—with perks like early park admission and resort-wide charging privileges.
