Trump pollsters find 61% of Texas voters, including majority of GOP voters, oppose state THC ban

Yet another poll has found that Texas’ proposed on THC-containing hemp products is deeply unpopular across the political spectrum. The survey, conducted by Trump pollsters Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, found that 61% of all registered Texas voters oppose Senate Bill 3, legislation championed by Republican Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick that would ban the sale and possession of psychoactive THC. What’s more, registered GOP voters oppose the measure by a 44%-31% margin. Advocates argue Patrick’s bill is death sentence for the state’s once-burgeoning $8 billion hemp industry and would cut off access for veterans and others who use THC to mitigate the effects of PTSD, chronic pain and other ailments.
