HOUSTON — Several train cars are leaning off an overpass over Hempstead Road in northwest Houston.
Details surrounding the crash are limited, but Houston police said the crash happened around 8:55 a.m.
Several cars were derailed, but no injuries were reported.
It wasn’t immediately clear what the train cars were carrying.
The derailment forced the closure of Hempstead Road at Washington Avenue.
We don’t yet know how long the closure will last or when the derailment will be cleaned up.
