AUSTIN (KXAN) — All lanes are shut down at South Congress and East Ben White Boulevard due to police activity in the area, according to the Austin Police Department.
APD said on social media shortly after 1 p.m. the “ongoing incident” in the area has caused a traffic diversion onto the frontage roads in the area.
The Texas Department of Transportation also said on social media that “all eastbound and westbound lanes are closed due to police activity” at U.S. 290 at South Congress.
No other details were available Saturday.
