This TikTok has Texans laughing, and craving a certain H-E-B staple

Viral TikTok shows a girl sneaking 200 tortillas onto a plane in her backpack.

AUSTIN, Texas — A viral TikTok is sparking laughs and Texas pride after a user claimed to sneak 200 H-E-B tortillas onto an airplane, all stuffed into a backpack.

The video, shared by TikTok creator @annathecolossaltitan, shows a traveler at the airport with the on-screen caption:

“All these people and no one knows I have 200 HEB tortillas in my backpack.”

The clip, set to upbeat music and captioned “goodmorning austin #happynationalbaggettersday,” was posted as the traveler flew out of Austin with the beloved Texas staple. While the tortillas themselves aren’t visible in the video, the idea alone struck a chord with H-E-B fans.

The post has racked up more than 76,900 likes and 642,000 views, and thousands of comments from fellow Texans who say they also travel with their favorite home-state groceries.

“As a Texan living out of state, I absolutely get it,” one commenter wrote.

“They don’t make tortillas like that anywhere else,” another added.

And for anyone wondering — yes, H-E-B tortillas are TSA-approved, so travelers are free to take their carb-based comfort food to cruising altitude.

Whether you’re flying to another state or just crossing county lines, one thing is clear:

Texans don’t travel light — they travel with flavor.

Or, as the grocery chain’s slogan reminds us: “Here, Everything’s Better.”
