At least 27 campers and counselors from Kerr County’s Camp Mystic died in the holiday weekend’s catastrophic flash flooding, officials with the camp revealed Monday. So far, more than 80 people have perished in the deluge that swept through the Hill Country on Friday. Early in the search for survivors, authorities raised concerns that roughly 20 girls from the non-denominational Christian camp were unaccounted for.
