Ruger Riojas will not take the mound during the tournament, and the Longhorns begin play in the quarterfinals against Arkansas at 3 p.m. CT Friday. As the No. 2 seed in the tournament, Texas received a bye through the first two rounds in the single-elimination tournament and could potentially play games through Sunday.
