FORT WORTH, Texas — The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man whose remains were discovered nearly three decades ago in eastern Tarrant County.
In 1995, a human skull was found on land being cleared for a new golf course near the 11500 block of Mosier Valley Road. Additional skeletal remains were located in a field north of the initial site, in the 11700 block of Mosier Valley Road. DNA testing later confirmed the remains were associated with the skull.
Forensic analysis indicates the individual was a man between the ages of 30 and 44, possibly Hispanic or white, and stood between 5’7″ and 6’1″ tall.
“Due to advances in technology, the rendered photo of this person is being used to help possibly identify him,” Fort Worth police said in a statement.
Officials are hoping someone may recognize the image and help provide information that leads to his identification.
Anyone who may recognize the man or has information related to the case is urged to contact the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office at 817-920-5700, extension 8512.
