Houston police said the stepfather and victim, a man in his 30s, had gotten into a fight before the stabbing.
HOUSTON — A man is dead after Houston police said his stepfather stabbed him multiple times in the chest early Sunday morning.
This happened a little after midnight at a home on Bigwood Street, which is in a neighborhood of Homestead Road north of Tidwell Road.
According to the Houston Police Department, responding officers found the victim, a man in his 30s, at the home with multiple stab wounds to the chest. The suspect, the man’s stepfather, was still at the scene.
Police said the two had been in some type of fight before they were separated. The two were still upset and re-engaged each other. That’s when HPD said the stepfather stabbed the man multiple times.
The man was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The stepfather was taken into custody.
