Shooting in Arlington leaves 1 dead, 1 injured, officials say

A shooting at an Arlington apartment complex left one man dead and another injured, police say.

ARLINGTON, Texas — A man was killed and another was injured Thursday afternoon in a shooting at an Arlington apartment complex, police said. 

According to the Arlington Police Department, officers responded to the shooting at around 1 p.m. in the 1600 block of Nandina Drive. 

Upon arrival, police said officers found a man with a gunshot wound lying unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said. 

Arlington PD said while officers were searching the apartment complex, they found another man who had been shot in the leg. Police said he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Neither of the men were identified. 

According to police, detectives are investigating to figure out exactly what happened. No arrests have been made at this time.
