San Antonio’s Muertos Fest, one of the nation’s largest Día de los Muertos celebrations, will remain in downtown park and entertainment district Hemisfair for the next 10 years under a new agreement organizers and the city unveiled Tuesday. “Hemisfair has been a great venue for our festival, where the heart of San Antonio comes alive with art, music, altars and community spirit,” Muertos Fest Artistic Director Jim Mendiola said in an emailed statement. “This partnership allows us to continue our commitment to honoring tradition, while embracing the future of this beautiful celebration.”
