Fresh off a momentous win this week, the San Antonio Spurs head into their next contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.
Up to 6,000 fans are expected to gather at the official Game 6 watch party at The Rock at La Cantera as the Spurs, now 3-2 in the contest, look to nail down victory in Minneapolis and head to the Western Conference Finals.
Admission at The Rock is free on a first-come, first-served basis.
Festivities will begin with a Dueling Pianos show at 4 p.m., followed by Zay Zay and DJ Quake’s arrival at 7 p.m. The official watch party gets underway at 7:30 p.m., leading into an 8:30 p.m. tipoff.
Fans are encouraged to show up in black gear, and the team will hand out Black Out T-shirts while supplies last. Expect exclusive playoff merch and expanded viewing areas throughout the space.
Fans can register online for parking information and event updates, although registration doesn’t guarantee entry. Free parking is available but limited, and overflow Park & Ride options are available at The Shops at La Cantera.
The watch party series is a part of a broader slate of playoff activations across the city, including pep rallies, partner giveaways, sweepstakes and the Spurs Por Vida Impact campaign, to encourage community service throughout the postseason.
