San Antonio Reddit page moderators face backlash after crackdown on ICE-related posts

The moderators of the r/sanantonio Reddit page are facing a backlash after revealing Tuesday that they will no longer allow any posts alerting users of the forum about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in the city. Instead, all posts regarding San Antonio ICE raids, which have ramped up in recent weeks, will now require “substantial evidence” and “specific details about the situation” before being posted on the page, which has more than a quarter of a million users. The moderators didn’t provide specific details about what standards Reddit users are now expected to meet before their ICE-related posts will be accepted.
