SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Botanical Garden is offering complimentary admission for all visitors this month for a musical event.
The yard is joining Alamo City Arts for their “Make Songs San Antonio” event from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 21
According to a release from The San Antonio Arboretum, the all-day music festival is motivated by France’s “FĂȘte de la musique,” which occurs on the summer season solstice. Over 1, 000 cities in 120 nations are known to participate.
“There’s something truly unique about seeing people from all walks of life integrated through music,” claimed Cory McRae, president and CEO of Alamo City Arts. “Make Music Day is a chance for our performers and the entire community to simply take pleasure in the moment, celebrate imagination, and become part of something joyous. We’re thrilled to bring the arts to such a gorgeous area and aid make this a day to remember.”
“This year, the Make Music San Antonio festival will feature over a dozen music efficiencies. The launch stated several of the performers include the Alamo City Brass Collective, the Heart of Texas Show Band, Electric Gremlin, Mariachi Gallos de Oro and Alamo City Dance Business.
