The city of Rowlett urges locals to stop purging toilets as a result of a drain major collapse.
ROWLETT, Texas– The city of Rowlett is advising homeowners near Freedom Grove Roadway and Chiesa Roadway to avoid flushing bathrooms after a sewage system primary collapsed Wednesday evening.
According to a Facebook post from the city, a 24 -inch drain primary fell down, causing sewer back-ups in the location. The city stated Public Works teams are working to make the required repair services.
The city likewise noted that homeowners in the outlined area needs to stop all “non-essential water usage” and avoid flushing their toilets until further notice. In doing so, citizens will help in reducing the pressure on the sewage system, the city claimed.

According to the city, this sewer line collapse has no influence on the safety and security of the residents’ water.
“Public Works is keeping track of conditions carefully,” the city stated on Facebook. “We value your persistence and collaboration as we function to settle this problem as quickly as feasible.”
