DALLAS– In honor of Satisfaction Month, the City of Dallas and its partners organized a satisfaction flag increasing event and resource reasonable at Dallas Town hall Plaza on Friday.
Dallas city councilmember Omar Narvaez, Area 6, informed WFAA the pride flag will fly above city buildings throughout the month of June, in exemption of a four-day stretch where it is switched out to memorialize Juneteenth (June 19 -22
“We’re right here to welcome in Pride Month for the City of Dallas and allow our homeowners, in addition to our visitors, recognize that Dallas is a welcoming community. How we do that is by raising our official city flag for the month of June every year,” Narvaez claimed.
This is the 5th year that Dallas has raised its main city flag with the seal overlayed on a rainbow flag, Narvaez claimed.
“I believe it’s just vital that individuals know Dallas is a welcoming neighborhood and no matter that you are, that you enjoy, what you appear like, we want you below in our city,” Narvaez included.
