PLANO, Texas — A Plano man has been arrested following allegations that he was seen looking through a neighbor’s window and into a child’s bedroom earlier this month.

According to the Plano Police Department, the incident was first reported on July 12, when a resident called police after observing a man peeping into her daughter’s bedroom window. Plano PD obtained the victim’s home security footage, which helped officers identify a suspect.

After several days of investigation, police arrested 40-year-old Alberto Ventura Salinas of Plano on Thursday, July 17, around 10:30 p.m. He has been charged with Disorderly Conduct – Peeping into a Dwelling.

Investigators determined that Salinas lives in the same neighborhood where the incident occurred. While police confirmed there was no physical exposure during the incident, they said the suspect’s behavior “raised a significant concern.”
