MCKINNEY, Texas– A North Texas resident is $ 1 million richer after claiming a Texas Lotto Powerball prize-winning ticket.
The winning ticket was bought at a Walmart Supercenter store in the 2000 block of N. Redbud Boulevard in McKinney, according to a news release. The winner chose to continue to be confidential.
The winning Quick Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn (9 – 29 – 31 – 34 – 43, but not the red Powerball number (2, journalism release states.
Powerball grand prizes start at $ 20 million and proceed up until the reward is won, according to a news release.
Gamers win the Grand Prize by matching five numbers from an area of 69 numbers and one Powerball number from a collection of 26 numbers.
