Gunter firefighters rescued a dog tangled in caution tape at a construction site, reuniting it with its owner.
DALLAS — A furry friend and its owner were reunited this morning thanks to North Texas first responders.
The Gunter Fire Department received a call this morning at about 8 a.m. that pulled first responders to a local construction site. Upon arrival, they found a dog tangled in caution tape and stuck in a water-filled trench.
Although the canine was mostly submerged, his head remained above water.
Gunter FD cut the tape and lifted the shivering dog from the trench. The dog was unharmed and able to be returned to its owner.
