North Texan wins $1M in Texas Lottery scratch-off game

ARLINGTON, Texas — A North Texan is $1 million richer after winning the top prize in a Texas Lottery scratch ticket game. 

An Arlington resident recently claimed the $1 million top prize in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game $1,000,000 Crossword. The winning ticket was bought at a QuikTrip at 2051 FM 663 in Midlothian, according to the Texas Lottery. The winner chose to remain anonymous. 

It was the first of six top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the $1,000,000 Crossword game, which offers more than $229 million in total prizes, officials said.

The overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.41, including break-even prizes.
