North Richland Hills, Texas train incident: 1 person seriously injured

The incident involved a TEXRail train, which is a Trinity Metro train that runs from downtown Fort Worth to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, officials said.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — An incident involving a train and a pedestrian shut down a road in North Richland Hills early Monday, officials said.

One person was seriously injured as a result, but more information on their condition was not yet available.

The incident happened near Davis Boulevard and Main Street, according to the North Richland Hills Fire Department, which posted that Davis was shut down around 6:30 a.m. Davis appeared to be reopened by 7:15 a.m.

The incident involved a TEXRail train, which is a Trinity Metro train that runs from downtown Fort Worth to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, officials said. It wasn’t clear how many people were on board the train when the incident happened.
