KERR COUNTY, Texas — Kerr County leaders say new Flash Flood Warning sirens are now active along parts of the Guadalupe River.
This project comes after last year’s July 4 floods that killed at least 139 people.
The sirens are designed to warn camps and river communities during fast-moving flood emergencies.
Six sirens have been installed so far, and two more are set to be installed later this month.
